Location

Opposite the TGV station in the city centre, the Cité is directly connected by the ring road. Trams and buses run from the Cité to the centre of Nantes (5 minutes on foot); the international airport is 15 minutes away (direct shuttle buses).

Access

Station: TGV is 5 minutes on foot – opposite the Cité – 21 daily connections to Paris (2 hours)

Airport: Main airport of the Great West and 1 hour from Roissy, serving 60 national and internationals destinations; regular business flights including ones to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dublin, Geneva, London, Madrid, Milan and Montreal.

Road: Paris/Nantes on the A11 – Bordeaux on the A83

As well as event management assistance, the services provided by the Cité incorporate all logistical and technical services (convention secretariat and accommodation, reception, exhibition management, catering, security and high-tech equipment).

Catering

Open areas for catering can accommodate up to 3,500 guests: Main Hall - Mezzanine – Foyer of the Main Auditorium - Main Gallery and multifunctional areas.

By using the Main Hall, 1,950 tables can be set up within the same area.

Accommodation

A choice of more than 5,800 rooms (including 2,350 in 3- and 4-star hotels) can be offered to event organisers. 2,000 rooms within walking distance. One of the particular features of the Cité Internationale des Congrès is an integral 3-star hotel with 105 rooms.

Leisure

Nantes and its surroundings, the Loire and the coastline offer a particularly rich and varied range of tourist attractions. The Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, "Les Machines de l’Île" artistic project with the giant elephant walking through the city, St Peter's Cathedral, 18th-century houses, the Passage Pommeraye, Graslin Theatre, LU Tour, 19th-century Brasserie La Cigale, as well as parks and gardens.
